For three decades, the Oregon Natural Desert Association (ONDA) has worked to protect and restore millions of acres of Oregon's high desert. Because I hiked a portion of this desert on my 2016 thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, I was especially compelled to work on this project.
To begin, ONDA had a logo and a history of usage patterns, but no formal style guide for logo placement, colors, typography, and graphic style. I worked closely with their Communications Manager to reel it all in and to create a strong, cohesive, and effective set of brand guidelines to use moving forward. Topics included a refreshed and expanded color palette, articulated logo usage guidelines, and more streamlined typography.
"Danielle was terrific to work with! She went through many rounds on this project with me and delivered a super useful brand toolkit that we were able to begin implementing immediately. She was a pleasure to work with and clearly talented."
